Wells Fargo Advisors

NexJ’s relationship with Wells Fargo began in 2007 (then Wachovia Securities), and we have been delivering ongoing services and support to enhance their solution since that time.

Wells Fargo was looking to NexJ to provide a tightly integrated desktop platform that would protect the value of the merger of Wells Fargo and Wachovia Securities. It was essential to retain advisors, clients and assets by delivering an integrated desktop where new advisors would have improved customer-centric CRM capabilities. The NexJ solution is currently deployed throughout the US.

At Wells Fargo, NexJ delivered a modern, fully integrated desktop platform that was seamlessly integrated to the Thomson One Platform. The Integrated Desktop was integrated to 12 systems including:

  • an existing custom security model
  • entitlements engine
  • operational data store
  • third party customized advisor platform
  • batch email distribution system
  • in-house query and reporting tool

In addition, a massive data conversion effort was delivered that converted and aggregated data from multiple systems – 12 million contacts and 100 million related interactions.


Royal Bank of Canada

RBC is one of the world’s ten largest wealth managers, serving clients with a full suite of banking, investment, trust, and other wealth management solutions.  In 2011, they were seeking a best-of-breed integrated desktop for their Wealth Management operations, one that would enable them to attract and retain top talent.

The solution needed to increase advisor productivity; deliver a comprehensive view of clients and households; enable best practices across the organization; and drive user adoption. It needed to integrate existing financial accounts, portfolio management, entitlements, telephony, email, calendar solutions, account opening systems, and security systems.

They chose NexJ for an integrated desktop with CRM at the heart and have continued on a 10-year journey with us, focusing on advisor needs and making continual improvements.
